ある日、スタジオに向かう途中のいつもの道ばたで、
信号待ちをする自分や人の身体が、
幾重にも重なる影や光に覆われていることに気づいた。
まるで背後から世界に不意打ちされたようで
ハッとした瞬間、それは流れていった。
圧倒的な存在感と儚さに引き寄せられ、
今度は自らそこに身を投じてみた。
深すぎず、浅すぎず、遠すぎず、近すぎず、
自分を介して立ち現れる世界の姿を探った。
これは、その時できた波紋のようなものかもしれない。
One day, on the way to my studio, I found a layering of
light-shadow phenomenon reflected on my body
during the evening rush hour.
The work is a document of my experimentation,
entirely based on the live footage
shot in the exact spot without digital manipulation.
