Saga ∞ Naga

インスタレーション（ビデオプロジェクション、サウンド、インクジェットプリント、
鉛筆ドローイング、藁、棕櫚、石、テキスト）

Sagaにはサガ＝運命、サーガ＝物語。
Nagaにはナガ＝蛇(身)の神、蛇信仰という意がある。
対馬での滞在を通して見えてきたのは、
これまで追い続けてきた世界を成すいくつかの源流。
その源流はうごめき絡み合い、
終わりも始まりも境もなく
あらたな流れを紡ぎ続けていた。
The term “Saga” implies “a long story” or
“fate”
while the term “Naga” implies sneak worship.
Through the experience of living and
working in the Tsushima Island,
I began to witness origins of currents of the world I have been after that
constantly intertwining with each other to give a world new dimensions
devoid of beginning, end and boundaries.
